Our commitment

• Accessibility is part of the advisory work of this practice — accessible trails, facilities, programs, and interpretation are frequently the subject of engagements. This website is held to the same standard.
• The site is built to meet the WCAG 2.1 Level AA success criteria that apply to a content website of this kind.

How that is implemented

• Semantic HTML with a single main landmark and a logical heading structure on every page; a skip link to the main content as the first focusable element.
• Full keyboard operability, including the navigation menu, services dropdown, and accordions, with a visible focus indicator on every interactive element.
• Text and interface colors selected to meet contrast requirements, with information never conveyed by color alone.
• Descriptive link text, labeled form fields, alternative text on meaningful images, and decorative graphics hidden from assistive technology.
• Layouts that reflow to small screens and remain usable at increased text size and zoom, with tap targets sized for touch.
• Motion held to a minimum, with all animation and smooth scrolling disabled automatically when a visitor's system requests reduced motion.

Known limitations

• If online scheduling is enabled, the scheduling calendar is supplied by a third-party service whose accessibility is outside our direct control. Email and telephone are always offered as equivalent alternatives so that no visitor is required to use the embedded calendar.
